Aphelion - Onyx Forest : Part II - Level Art

The Onyx Forest was probably the most challenging chapter I worked on.
Here are some screenshots from the 2nd part of the scene.
I worked on the level art back and forth for almost 4 years and spend a lot of time adapting to level design or narration iterations throughout development. I also created the ice assets on Zbrush. The beautiful onyx assets were made by my talented colleague Adrian.
Having full ownership of this level was both demanding and incredibly rewarding, and seeing the final result come together means a lot to me.
